Recognizing the increased presence of women riders, ROAR Motorcycles of Daytona Beach, Florida, will once again offer a full range of activities for all the women heading to 2011 Bike Week.
On tap for Bike Week at ROAR:
- Beginners Sisterhood Ride Sunday, March 6th at 9:00 a.m. (ladies only)
- Free Self-Defense Classes Tuesday, March 8th at 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. and Wednesday, March 9th at 11:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
- Free Pre-MSF Confidence Building Classes Thursday, March 3rd at 7:00 p.m. (please RSVP) and Thursday, March 10th at 6:00 p.m. "The essential to budget travel is to plan in front. When it happens to family trips, globetrotting, well-deserved vacations and/or going to see new destinations we have never been before, the reality of expense and budgeting is generally in the back of our mind. Planning and spending our travel budget wisely is a main concern for most families. Curbing expending and costs, while still delighting your vacation to its fullest, is the key to confirmed achievement and fiscal responsibility. Your pocketbook and family will thank you! The reasoning behind protecting money while touring is simple: Even if your personal funds is highly tight, you can still take a break and enjoy life! Simply put, life is just too short to never step out of the door or leaving the homestead! Also remembering that while traveling, regardless of whether on a price range or not, even the smallest of things can all add op to a huge vacation or travel bill!..". (please RSVP)
- Free Basic Bike Maintenance Classes Thursday, March 10th at 5:00 p.m. and Friday, March 11th at 10:00 a.m.
- Intermediate/Advanced Sisterhood Rides Wednesday, March 9th at 1:00 p.m. and Saturday, March 12th at 10:00 p.m. (these two rides are for ladies only and participants must have riding experience)
- Free Homemade Chili Luncheon Saturday, March 12th from 12 noon til the chili runs out!
If planning on going on one of the rides, please arrive 30 minutes before the scheduled leave time with a full tank of gas.
ROAR Motorcycles will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. during Bike Week. They offer riding gear, helmets, gloves, motorcycle fashion, aftermarket parts, custom paint and art, seat work, and, of course, motorcycles.
ROAR, whose motto is motorcycles and accessories designed exclusively for women, is conveniently located in Daytona Beach at 897 Bellevue Avenue, not far from the Daytona International Speedway.
