Alas, when I checked the terms and conditions, the appetizer isn't really totally free as it will only be extended to visitors spending a minimum $30 per check on food and beverage. Stay tuned to JDV's Facebook page to see what social deals they'll be rolling out today. So far, they're offering 20% off Hotel Del Sol through July 6. Yesterday, they revealed two last-minute hotel deals (for Hotel Vitale and Hotel Rex) for the Fourth of July holiday weekend. JDV used to tweet out a discounted rate for one of their properties every Tuesday and on Facebook Fridays but now they provide Social Deals, which come in greater frequency and provide a longer period to book. Their popular Chip's Picks weekly newsletter, which provides discounted rates at selected properties, is still up and running.
