How many times have I had my regular clients repeat the same thing to me when I tell them, Wow I have got this great deal you really need to check out! I get excited almost to the point of heart palpitations about some deals I run into, and I get the same drab answer (mostly from the same ones): Nows not a great time to travel for me or my family. Youre kidding, right?

Well you would have to be! This is the best time in world to travel even if you have to take a short trip for 2 or 3 days. I give my customers certificates for two-night and three-day getaways all of the time just so they can take a stress free couple of days away from their routine. The hotel stay is usually free for those two days and they just have to find a way to get there. I mean, what could be easier? Now Im not unsympathetic to people who have lost their jobs and are just getting back on their feet and have a decreased household income no. What Im saying is for those of you who have a moderate to decent sized income, chances are you have a business or job where you can afford a couple of days during the week off. The key to budget travel is to approach ahead. When it occurs to family trips, globetrotting, well-deserved vacations and/or going to see new locations we have never been before, the truth of cost and budgeting is always in the back of our heads. Preparation and spending our travel budget correctly is a concern for most families. Lowering expending and prices, while still savoring your vacation to its fullest, is the key to confirmed achievements and fiscal liability. Your pocketbook and family will thank you! The reasoning behind protecting money while vacationing is simple: Even if your personal budget is incredibly limited, you can still take a break and enjoy life! Simply put, life is just too short to never step out of the door or leaving the homestead! Also thinking about that while traveling, no matter whether on a finances or not, even the smallest of things can all add op to a big vacation or travel costs!. If this is true, getaways are popping up all over. You dont have to go on a cruise or to Europe just stay right here in the good old USA. There are tons of deals that I get regularly. For instance, for the avid golfer you can get an ocean front room for 3 nights and 3 rounds of golf for $219.00 per person yes thats correct. This deal is from October 1st November 29th in Myrtle Beach (great place for golfing by the way) at the Sandcastle Resort. Get info at www.mbgolfonly.com. I know that the first thought of some of you is, well it doesnt include airfare. Well perhaps not but with the deal that Spirit Airlines is offering, you cant beat it! They are offering non-stop flights from Chicago to Myrtle Beach for $69 round-trip. Go to www.spiritair.com to check it out.

There are some other really fabulous deals at this resort as well:

4 Nights and 4 Rounds -$299 Per Person

Courses: 3 listed above plus Burning Ridge (2006 Myrtle Beach and South Carolina Golf Course of the Year)
5 Nights and 5 Rounds -$389 Per Person

Courses: 4 listed above plus the new Founders Club at Pawleys Island. A true, premium round of golf!

6 Nights and 6 Rounds -$439 Per Person
Courses: All 5 courses listed above plus Black Bear. Its only $50 more for the night of lodging and the round of golf! You will not find this ANYWHERE else.

Accommodations are at the Sandcastle Resort at South Beach. Prices are based on double occupancy in a Type B room with 2 Queen beds and a private balcony.

Two BR condos based on Quad Occupancy are available for the same price!
