As we all saw at the royal wedding, wearing hats can be outrageously fun. So dust off your crazy hat and come out to Golden Gate Fields Kentucky Derby Day this Saturday, May 7. Golden Gate Fields is the best location in the Bay Area to enjoy the biggest day in thoroughbred racing. "The essential to budget travel is to plan in advance. When it occurs to family trips, globetrotting, well-deserved holidays and/or going to see new places we have never been before, the fact of expense and budgeting is always in the back of our heads. Planning and spending our travel budget carefully is a consideration for most families. Curbing spending and expenses, while still delighting your vacation to its fullest, is the key to guaranteed achievements and fiscal obligation. Your pocketbook and family will thank you! The thought behind economizing money while travelling is simple: Even if your personal funds is really tight, you can still take a break and enjoy life! Simply put, life is just too short to never step out of the door or departing the homestead! Also remembering that while traveling, regardless of whether on a price range or not, even the smallest of things can all add op to a huge vacation or travel bill!..". Golden Gate Fields will be offering a fun-filled day so you can hoot and holler and win big bucks at the track. The first live race starts at 11:45am with the Derby simulcast being shown on big screens throughout the venue.
In addition to the races, there will be a free concert by Pop Fiction and the 3rd Annual Run for the Roses Hat Contest.
