Western New York is full of winter time fun for guys to blow off a little steam. With the plentiful snow fall and chilly temperatures, here are some great ways for guys to get together and enjoy it.
Letchworth State Park has one room cabin rentals with a fridge, cooking stove and wood stove for $65.00 a night. The park offers a wide variety of hiking and cross country skiing trails that can be taken independently or with a guide. Trails that connect to the NYS snowmobile trail system make Letchworth sled friendly. Check out the skiing, snow tubing and snowboarding resorts in the area. Allegany State Park also has cabin rentals available ranging from about $72 to $93 a night depending on the cabin size and amenities. There are some great sledding spots, cross country skiing, ice fishing, hiking and snowmobiling. The Seneca Allegany Casino is located near the park if youre feeling lucky and rooms are available (call for rates and details) if a less rustic stay is preferred.
