Get a $500 Apple gift card for booking business or first with Cathay Pacific

Cathay Pacific is throwing in a big incentive for travelers looking to go to Asia soon. Book a First or Business class ticket by January 31 and they'll send you a link to register for a $500 Apple gift card. "The essential to budget travel is to prepare ahead. Complete the travel by February 28, 2011.

You must book a ticket online for one of the following fare classes: F, A (First class) or J, C, D, I (Business class). After booking the ticket, click on the link in the e-mail that will be sent to register for the gift card, which you need to do by February 4. The gift card will be sent in about six to eight weeks after the travel is complete. The catch is that only 400 gift cards are available, sent out to the first 400 who register and complete travel.

Cathay Pacific's First class seats convert to a flat 81-inch bed. Business class seats lie flat for a 78-inch bed with privacy partitions. While the Business class seats are long enough, there's been quite a discussion amongst frequent fliers that the Business class seats are quite narrow with an awkward configuration. The airline is currently offering special business class fares from San Francisco for departures by December 31, 2011. Destinations include Hong Kong, Manila, Shanghai, and Singapore.
