Kauai Music Festival Songwriter Conference, July 11-14, 2012

Kauai Beach Resort is the host hotel for the July 11-14, 2012, Kauai Music Festival (KMF) Songwriter Conference. Celebrating their 10th year, KMF is a 4-day event for aspiring songwriters and artists.

The KMF Songwriter Conference is an excellent forum for promising writers and performers of all ages to gain valuable advice and pointers early on in their careers. The conference offers one-on-one meetings, small group sessions, workshops, panel discussions, open mic activities and more. The conference is open to everyone and offers a remarkable opportunity for attendees to meet, interact and get feedback from Grammy, Emmy, and Na Hoku-winning songwriters, producers, TV & Film Music Supervisors, top A&R Executives and other music industry people in attendance.

Registration fee for the 4-day conference is $175 and includes two evening concerts.

July 13 Poalima Concert - Performances by the visiting mainland staff including: David Pack (formerly of Ambrosia) and Robert Schwartzman (of Rooney)

July 14 Pua Hana Concert - Performances by the visiting Hawaiian staff: HAPA, John Cruz, Paula Fuga and Charles Michael Brotman

Additional concert tickets can also be purchased for friends and family.

All KMF Songwriter Conference activities are held on-site at the Kauai Beach Resort. "The important to budget travel is to approach in front.
