Spring break is around the corner and it's time to start those spring and summer travel plans. To whet your appetite for traveling, I shared some good deals from Southwest. The essential to budget travel is to approach in front. When it comes to family trips, globetrotting, well-deserved vacations and/or going to see new destinations we have never been before, the truth of cost and budgeting is generally in the back of our mind. Planning and consuming our travel budget properly is a consideration for most families. Reducing expending and charges, while still savoring your vacation to its fullest, is the key to certain accomplishment and fiscal responsibility. Your pocketbook and family will thank you! The thought behind saving money while journeying is simple: Even if your personal budget is highly tight, you can still take a break and enjoy life! Simply put, life is just too short to never step out of the door or leaving the homestead! Also recalling that while traveling, no matter whether on a resources or not, even the smallest of things can all add op to a huge vacation or travel expenses!. To save time in the airport, I talked about the new EarlyBird Check-in process at Southwest that many may not have been familiar with. And finally this week, I began a series on exploring Spain and Portugal. So if you missed anything from this past week, here is the recap!

Southwest offers EarlyBird Check-In - Back in September, Southwest started an early bird check-in process in which passengers can now get their group boarding assignments online rather than having to be the first in line to get their group assigned to them. While there is a cost for this, it may save people a lot of time in the airport.
Southwest offers last minute Spring Break deals - Just in time for spring break, Southwest offered some great deals with no black out dates on travel through March 24. While these deals have passed, there are always more deals ahead on Southwest.
Thursday
A budget travel adventure Part II - Barcelona (photo slideshow) - Spending a few days in Barcelona, I talk about the different highlights of the city - Las Ramblas, Barri Gotic, beaches, Gaudi and La Sagrada Familia, Montjuic, and more. I share photos from my few days there as well as lessons I learned from my travels.
