Big Daddy's Burgers. Offers a unique way to serve up burgers with extras you typically won't find elsewhere. To start with the burgers are big... a half pound big. If you choose from their premium burgers, listed by names as unique as their toppings, you will soon find yourself in front of a mountain of food.
My first taste off their menu was the Enchilada Burger. A half pound burger with not one but two cheese enchilada's on top, Basil's Texas chili, shredded cheddar, chopped onion and sour creme on a jalapeno cheese bun. Delicious and quite filling. I had it paired with their optional onion rings and poblano pepper rings instead of the usual fries. The combination batter fried poblano rings and onion rings was a great complement to this burger and instantly became one of my favorites. Enchilada burger $10.95, add $1.50 for the poblano onion rings substitution.
The problem for me began when I tried their Goodfellas Burger. Again, a half pound of perfectly cooked beef covered in marinara sauce, pepperoni and fried mozzarella cheeze on a brioche bun. Think mozzarella stick the size and shape of a filet-o-fish patty! Always a fan of pizza, this was a fantastic piece of food work. The poblano and onion rings were too good last time so I had them again this time. Goodfella Burger $11.95
My third visit menu selection I opted to try a plain old bacon cheeseburger. There is no such thing as plain old bacon cheeseburger here. My cheese of choice was pepperjack and their smoked bacon is some of the best I've ever had. These burgers come with the usual lettuce, tomato, onion and Big Daddy's own recipe pickles. Served with bloody Mary ketchup on a brioche bun and fresh cut fries. Classic Bacon Cheeseburger $8.95
Aside from the usual beer and bar service Big Daddy's also serves Grown Up Milkshakes.
Earlier I mentioned the food causing a problem for me. The problem is everything has been so good I am forced to choose between something I have already had and enjoyed or try something new. With burgers with names such as the Hangover Burger, Who Dat Burger, and Big Lebowski Burger and available toppings like hatch green chili's, duck, and panko crusted shrimp. You see the dilemma.
