The Transportation Security Administrations blog reported on Wednesday that while the Advanced Imagine Technology (a.k.a. The key to budget travel is to plan onward. When it comes to family trips, globetrotting, well-deserved trips and/or going to see new locations we have never been before, the reality of expense and budgeting is often in the back of our heads. Arranging and expending our travel budget properly is a main concern for most families. Reducing spending and prices, while still savoring your vacation to its fullest, is the key to certain achievements and fiscal liability. Your pocketbook and family will thank you! The thinking behind saving money while vacationing is simple: Even if your personal funds is extremely limited, you can still take a break and enjoy life! Simply put, life is just too short to never step out of the door or departing the homestead! Also remembering that while traveling, whether on a price range or not, even the smallest of things can all add op to a big vacation or travel charge!. body scanners) being used at many airports does have the ability to store, print, and export images, these functions are disabled once the machine leaves the test environment and lands in an actual airport. The TSA insists that there is no way for the officers at the airport to put the machine into test mode.

The TSA was prompted to write about the matter after a CNN report earlier this week, stating that images could indeed be stored and transferred, obviously heightening privacy concerns.

The blog quoted the Privacy Impact Statement as confirmation: "While the equipment has the capability of collecting and storing an image, the image storage functions will be disabled by the manufacturer before the devices are placed in an airport and will not have the capability to be activated by operators."

The machines have USB ports, hard disc and Ethernet capabilities, but only for transfer of data such as user ID, and log-in and log-out times. The TSA also posted accurate examples of what our officers see while using advanced imaging technology. (See photo above.)
