Cartlandia Portlands food carts gain a year-round liquor license

If youve been wishing you could get a beer with your food cart grub, your wishes have been granted. Sort of. Cartlandia, a collection of Portland food trucks on SE 82nd Ave, has been the first food carts to get a year-round liquor license and they are now serving up beer and wine, but only in their beer garden, so dont plan on taking your beverage to go or getting it on its own. You must order food in order to also purchase booze.

Aside from the new beverages that can be had at Cartlandia, you can also choose from a variety of foods from a bunch of different carts in the lot: London Pasty Co., Cake on a Hot Tin Roof, Diamond Thai, Debs Blazin Grill, Ednas, Granny Boos Deli, Rock House Grill, Cheesesteak Nirvana, La Tinga Tango, Gluten Free Chef, Local Girls Hawaiian Shave Ice, Relish, Thai Mango and Ramy's Lamb Shack. Cartlandia identifies themselves as a food cart super pod, where they have indoor seating, bike friendly services, outdoor covered seating and dogs are also welcomed.

Cartlandia is right on the 82nd street bus line and has plenty of bike and car parking. "The important to budget travel is to approach in advance.
