It's the most wonderful time of the year for a trip down to Ocean City, Maryland for the Winterfest of Lights!
Named a "Top 100 Event" by the American Bus Association for 2011, it is a spectacular display of Christmasy delight. Each year the beach front town replaces its surf boards and bikinis with a winter wonderland the whole family will love.
Begin your evening at Winterfest Village. Check out Yukon Cornelius' gift shop and have your photo taken with Santa. Next, hop aboard the Winterfest Express and enjoy a million-light display as you wind down a magical path featuring hundreds of animations as your favorite holiday and fairytale stories come to life. Finally, finish off with a warm cup of hot chocolate and enjoy the sounds of the season with live entertainment (on select nights only).
This event is budget friendly, only $5 per person and children 11 and under are FREE! Be sure to dress warm!
The event runs from November 17 - January 1.
