Awkward family photo? Win a free family vacation to Orlando on Virgin America

Virgin America is partnering with Awkward Family Photos to provide a family with four free roundtrip tickets to anywhere Virgin America flies. Submit your most awkward family photo by October 5th. The contestant with the most votes on October 13th will win the free tickets.

Even if you don't send in a photo or win the contest, you will still get an awkward 33.3% off your next booking of Virgin America's new flights to Orlando, for three to six people, simply for voting or entering. Voting goes from October 6th to October 13.

Virgin America is showing its additional love for California residents (its hub is in San Francisco) by also selecting the best awkward family photo from a California resident. Virgin America will send him or her, along with three guests, on the October 13th flight to Orlando as part of their Orlando launch party. You'll arrive on the red carpet reception hosted by the very man himself, Sir Richard Branson. Since you'll need a place to sleep, Virgin America is also throwing in a three night hotel stay. Warning - it's just one hotel room that will be provided so be prepared for possible awkward family sleeping situations.

So get some use, other than to embarrass your sibling, out of that awkward family photo. Send in your best awkward family photo now!

Getting there: Virgin America begins service to Orlando from San Francisco on October 6th, with fares starting at $129 each way.

Staying there: Travelzoo is currently offering a $39 deal for The Clarion Inn Lake Buena Vista for stays through Dec. 24. Book by Oct. 7.
