Destin, Floridas Sandestin Beach & Golf Resort is its own little city. Snowbird Savings
Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort offers some of the best snowbird deals on the coast. With monthly rental rates as low as $899, winter visitors reap the benefits of the excellent accommodations and amenities of this first-class resort at prices that compete with or even beat the offerings of far less luxurious developments.
For example, snowbirds pay no resort fee or departure cleaning fee and enjoy free local phone service. Also included is complimentary use of the fitness center, bicycles, and tennis courts (two hours per day). On-property tram service is provided, plus the Snowbird Reading Room in the Linkside Conference Center offers internet access, plus free reading materials and complimentary copies of USA Today. Snowbirds also receive discounts at area restaurants and merchants, as well as the spa and salon.
For golfers, the deals are spectacular. For a $100 initial fee, the first round may be played on The Links or Baytowne course, after which rounds are just $25 on either of these courses or $45 on Raven. The initial fee also opens eligibility for golf clinics at half-price only $10 for one hour. Other complimentary perks include access to the Dunes Putting Course and a Happy Hour Buffet every Wednesday from 4-5:30pm.
Dining in Sandestin
From snacks and desserts to breakfast, lunch, and dinner, Sandestins assortment of eateries is so large that it would be impossible to experience them all in one visit. Among Baytowne Wharfs fine dining venues are Bistro Bijou and the Marlin Grill. A few of the other restaurants: Acme Oyster House, Hammerheads Bar & Grille, and Robertos Pizzeria.
Another Broken Egg Cafe serves breakfast, brunch and lunch in two Sandestin locations: Baytowne Wharf and the Linkside Conference Center.
