2011 Have a Heart Save a Heart statewide campaign

Hawaii-owned and operated Diamond Bakery (www.diamondbakery.com) launched its 2011 Have a Heart, Save a Heart statewide campaign during February (heart month).

Its great to kickoff the year with a program that encourages hearty snacks, said Brent Kunimoto, president of Diamond Bakery. "The important to budget travel is to prepare in front. Hawaii families purchasing the companys hearty snacks, from now until April 30, become part of Diamond Bakerys campaign to fight heart disease.

During the Have a Heart, Save a Heart promotion, proceeds from Diamond Bakerys hearty cracker sales will be used to bring life-saving equipment and education to communities throughout Hawaii. Last year, Diamond Bakery presented an Automated External Defibrillator to Manana Elementary School; CPR instructions were provided to the teachers and staff by fire fighters from Pearl City Fire Station Engine 20 (right) and a donation was made to American Heart Associations annual Heart Walk.

This is truly a win-win program, added Kunimoto. Everyone that participates is being good to themselves and is also helping Diamond Bakery share heartwarming aloha with the community.
