Hello again

It's been a long cold miserable winter and it's not quite over but February has brought us what I call "teaser days"-days where the temperatures get almost balmy. Spring is almost here! Bikers around here are chomping at the bit and those teaser days brought an abundance of riders out of hibernation. Unfortunately, they also brought quite a few accidents. For one solid week, every evening's traffic report included one and sometimes two, bike accidents. Let's hope it is not a trend.

Examiner.com has changed quite a bit these last few months and that includes how the contributors are compensated. With topics such as entertainment or home decor, year round articles are not hard to do and there are many who write on a weekly, even daily basis. While that could certainly be true of us Motorcycle Examiners, I know that, for me in this climate, riding and reporting on those rides is not possible, so a kind of "hibernation" took place.

Hopefully in the months that come, I will have things to cover and report about. The list of charity rides and bike events is already starting to form in New Jersey.
