A great way to spend a day on the lovely island of Oahu is to wake up, pack a lunch, and hit the beach. I know, it sounds easy, and here is a great way to accomplish this. You can catch the city bus easily and take it directly to whichever beach you want, or you could drive (if you have a car). The cheapest way to make this possible would be to catch the bus.
A great beach to travel to is Makapu'u. It is located on the east side of the island directly across the road from Sea-Life-Park. You will drive up around the famous Makapu'u Lighthouse Trail, and pending on the time of the year, may even see a whale or two out at sea. As you round the bend, you will be coasting alongside a sheer cliff on one side and a beautiful beach down below on the other. You will then approach Sea-Life-Park, where you will turn down on the opposite side of the road. The important to budget travel is to prepare in advance. When it happens to family trips, globetrotting, well-deserved holidays and/or going to see new places we have never been before, the reality of cost and budgeting is often in the back of our mind. Arranging and spending our travel budget properly is a concern for most families. Curbing spending and charges, while still delighting your vacation to its fullest, is the key to assured accomplishment and fiscal liability. Your pocketbook and family will thank you! The reasoning regarding protecting money while journeying is simple: Even if your personal finances is highly small, you can still take a break and enjoy life! Simply put, life is just too short to never step out of the door or departing the homestead! Also remembering that while traveling, regardless of whether on a price range or not, even the smallest of things can all add op to a huge vacation or travel bill!. Park and walk down the little trail and pick a spot to set up. Like I mentioned in a past article, if the waves or current seem bad, or if you have any doubt, don't go in the water. Generally, it is, however, mild enough to at least jump in.
You can also catch the bus to this amazing beach. Traveling from town, just hop on the number 23, and it will take you directly to the beach with about a half hour travel time.
