St. Louis is chock full of fun things to see and do without spending a fortune. The key to budget travel is to approach in front. When it comes along to family trips, globetrotting, well-deserved holidays and/or going to see new destinations we have never been before, the truth of expense and budgeting is generally in the back of our thoughts. Considering and spending our travel budget wisely is a consideration for most families. Reducing consuming and prices, while still experiencing your vacation to its fullest, is the key to assured achievement and fiscal obligation. Your pocketbook and family will thank you! The thinking behind protecting money while journeying is simple: Even if your personal budget is really tight, you can still take a break and enjoy life! Simply put, life is just too short to never step out of the door or departing the homestead! Also thinking about that while traveling, no matter whether on a resources or not, even the smallest of things can all add op to a big vacation or travel costs!. One of the most fun, interactive places in town is the Saint Louis Science Center. And general admission is FREE!

An essential visit includes a stop at the Structures gallery: a hands-on look at structural engineering in a walkway suspended above a highway. You and your partner can even build a mock Gateway Arch out of blocks.

Saint Louis Science Center is also a great place for stargazers. The James S. McDonnell Planetarium offers daily astronomy shows and even regular public telescope viewings.

If you're more into biology, then you can stimulate (and test) your senses in the Human Adventure exhibit. You might surprise yourself with what you can perceive. MedTech and the Life Science Lab can make the abstract concepts of genetics and biotechnology more tangible and accessible...perhaps inspiring a future scientist in your household.

If you're willing to pony up a few extra bucks, the OMNIMAX Theater shows nature films on a (REALLY) big screen. And what science museum would be complete with dinosaurs? The special exhibit "A T. Rex Named Sue" contains a 42-foot cast skeleton of a real ferocious dinosaur and an interactive DinoDig project for the budding paleontologist.

Whatever scientific discipline floats your boat, you can immerse yourself in it at the Saint Louis Science Center.
