The weather in Denver has been great this week, and many of us are dreaming of green grass and warm breezes. But ski season is still in full swing, and there are lots of ski destination deals available. Todays deals are found in Kona, Jackson Hole, Breckenridge, and Denver.
PackLate.com is a newcomer to the travel market, specializing in vacation rental properties. Right now, their featured deals include condos in Breckenridge starting at $120 and in Dillon starting at $89 per night for check-in Feb. 27 and check-out March 4. As the check-in date nears, the price goes down for rentals that remain available. Reservations are confirmed and all properties are professionally managed. There is also inventory in Aspen, Telluride, and Winter Park. This is a great resource for a last-minute getaway, particularly for families.
Tripalertz.com has a deal in Jackson Hole, Wyo. starting this week. Membership to Tripalertz is free, and members vote on the packages they like the most. The packages with the most votes are available for purchase. Once a certain number of people book the deal, the price goes lower. Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is offering 4 nights lodging, three days of skiing and daily lunch for up to four people for $1,665. Lodging is in a 2-bedroom, 1-bath slope side condo with a complete kitchen and free Wi-Fi. If 10 people book this deal, the price goes down to $1,585. Book by March 31. Can anyone say road trip?
Travelzoo is offering a dinner for two in Vail at the Sonnenalp Resort for $70. This resort is rated by Travel + Leisure as one of the Top 50 resorts in the U.S. and Canada. This is a three-course dinner at Ludwigs. Choose any 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, and 2 desserts from the menu, regularly $140. Buy a voucher from Travelzoo and make reservations through April 24, 2011. Buy the voucher by Feb. 21.
If dinner for two in Vail is appealing, perhaps staying in Vail is also appealing. Living Social is partnering with the Vail Cascade Resort to offer a superior room for one night in March at $209. Stay at the resort in May for as little at $69 per night. If warm weather is more attractive, Travelzoo is offering $99 per night for an ocean view room at the Royal Kona Resort through Apple Vacations on the Big Island of Hawaii.
