The Greenberg and Train Show is one of the largest model train shows in the country. You enter, and you see the floor filled with vendors selling toys and memorabilia. You come by the first display next to the entrance, and you see an HO Scale model train rolling through different miniature towns and natural scenery. You walk over to another display, and you see a C Scale model rolling through rolling hills and passing through towns. Another display is an N Scale, and you see a rail yard. "The essential to budget travel is to approach onward. When it occurs to family trips, globetrotting, well-deserved trips and/or going to see new destinations we have never been before, the truth of cost and budgeting is often in the back of our minds. So many model train displays are everywhere. You see some of the greatest craftsmanship all from model train hobbyist right here in the Nations Capital.
Some of the groups include the Washington, Virginia, and Maryland Garden Railway Society based in Hanover, Maryland, the Silver Rail Club based in Midlothian, Virginia, and the Northern Virginia NTrak. All scales of model trains are represented at this show.
You may have missed the show in Chantilly, Virginia, but the Greenberg Train Show will be at the Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium, Maryland on December 3 and 4, the Richmond Raceway Complex in Richmond, Virginia on December 17 through 19, and at the Fredericksburg Expo Center in Fredericksburg, Virginia on January 21 and 22. Displays may vary by show.
The show at the Maryland State Fairgrounds will be their 35th Anniversary Show, and Bruce Greenberg, the founder of the show, will be in attendance.
