Hawaii is located about 2,500 miles from the nearest land mass. The key to budget travel is to plan onward. When it comes along to family trips, globetrotting, well-deserved trips and/or going to see new destinations we have never been before, the reality of cost and budgeting is generally in the back of our heads. Planning and spending our travel budget wisely is a concern for most families. Minimizing consuming and fees, while still taking pleasure in your vacation to its fullest, is the key to certain success and fiscal liability. Your pocketbook and family will thank you! The thinking regarding economizing money while travelling is simple: Even if your personal budget is highly limited, you can still take a break and enjoy life! Simply put, life is just too short to never step out of the door or leaving the homestead! Also thinking about that while traveling, regardless of whether on a resources or not, even the smallest of things can all add op to a huge vacation or travel bill!. Surrounded by water, the easiest way for islanders to visit far flung places or the neighboring islands is via air transportation. That being the case, its always good news when we hear that Hawaiian Airlines will be adding more flights and new destinations.

Currently, Hawaiian offers nonstop service to Hawaii from more U.S. gateway cities (10) than any other airline. In addition, Hawaiian provides more than 150 daily jet flights between the Hawaiian Islands and offers service to the Philippines, Australia, American Samoa, and Tahiti.

If your passport has expired or you dont even have one, its probably time to apply as Hawaiian is spreading its wings again, recently announcing flights to the following countries:

Honolulu to Japan

Final approval was received from the U.S. Dept. of Transportation to start direct service between Honolulu and Tokyos Haneda Airport (aka Tokyo International Airport) starting October 31. Haneda is located about 9 miles south of Tokyo Station much more convenient for Hawaii travelers than Narita Airport which is located 36 miles east of Tokyo Station.

Tokyo Station is the main intercity rail terminal in Tokyo. It is the starting and ending point for most of Japan's high-speed rail lines.

Honolulu to Korea

Hawaiian Airlines will launch nonstop service between Honolulu and Seouls Incheon Airport (the largest airport in South Korea) in January 2011, pending approval from South Korea's government.

Hawaiian will operate the new service four times weekly using 264-seat Boeing 767-300ER aircraft.

And, good news for Maui residents Hawaiian Airlines announced it will begin direct service between Las Vegas and Maui beginning October 3.

Hawaiian has been providing air transportation service to islanders for 81 years. It is Hawaiis largest and oldest carrier.
