Denver International Airport is close to nowhere and getting a ride from friends and family isnt always an option. Taxis are expensive and shuttles are time-consuming and not cheap. If you want a ticket to ride without paying big bucks, try RTDs skyRide.
skyRide is RTDs dedicated airport service. The service has dozens of stops throughout the Denver metro, from Boulder to Littleton with many points in-between. You can catch the skyRide at bus stops, transit stations, and park-n-rides. skyRide has drop-off and pick-up points on Level 5 of DIAs east and west terminals.
One-way fares vary from $8.00 to $12.00 depending on your point of origin. When compared to a popular shuttle service, this is less than half the price for downtown Denver and even greater savings for points farther out. The key to budget travel is to prepare in advance. Fares can be paid in cash but you must have the exact amount as the bus driver cannot make change. Bus transfers and Light Rail tickets may be used as credit toward your fare, but again, you must make up the balance with exact change.
Roundtrip discounts are available if purchased in advance. Advance purchase locations include participating King Soopers and Safeway markets, and Market Street Station. Advance fares can also be purchased online at the RTD Online Store.

Want the convenience of getting in your car after stepping off the bus? Park-n-ride locations on the skyRide route will allow you to park your car for up to 30 days at a rate as low as a $1 a day. Restrictions apply and rates will depend on where you live in regard to the park-n-ride. Also, space is limited and available on a first come, first serve basis. Payment must be made in advance of your trip. Check the How to Park webpage if you plan to park and ride.
