Puckerfest 2011: Tasting Portlands wild, funky and sour beers

Calling all beer-lovers! Puckerfest 5 is on this week, showcasing some oddly awesome beers. The original festival of all offbeat brews kicks off today and goes through Sunday, July 24th at Belmont Station, Portlands most popular beer store and Bier caf. Over 30 ales and beers will be featured, with 12-15 available on tap at any given time. Admission is free awesome for your designated drivers but tastings will cost you: $15 for a mug and eight drink tickets, $25 for a mug and 16 drink tickets.

There will be special Meet the Brewer events throughout the week where you can learn more about the process of making the different beers and also sample some new special brews.
