Nelsonville Music Festival rocks the Hocking Hills this weekend

The rolling hills of southeastern Ohio will be alive with the sound of music this weekend, as the 7th Annual Nelsonville Music Festival kicks off on Friday, May 13, and runs through Sunday, May 15. Performers include Flaming Lips, George Jones, Neko Case, Over the Rhine, and several dozen others. The festival is produced by Stuarts Opera House in Nelsonville, but will take place this year at the historic village of Robbins Crossing at Hocking College.

Camping is available at the festival site (see nelsonvillefest.org) and there is a plethora of other accommodations throughout the nearby Hocking Hills.

Three-day passes are $80 in advance ($90 at the gate). Friday only tickets and Sunday only tickets are $50 in advance ($60 at the gate), and Saturday only tickets are $65 ($75 at the gate).
