The answer isYES, it is possible.
Now, Disney World, as Im sure you know is not cheap, but it doesnt have to be a budget buster either. The key to budget travel is to approach ahead. When it happens to family trips, globetrotting, well-deserved holidays and/or going to see new places we have never been before, the fact of expense and budgeting is always in the back of our heads. Organizing and consuming our travel budget correctly is a consideration for most families. Lowering consuming and costs, while still taking pleasure in your vacation to its fullest, is the key to assured achievement and fiscal responsibility. Your pocketbook and family will thank you! The thought regarding economizing money while traveling is simple: Even if your personal funds is really tight, you can still take a break and enjoy life! Simply put, life is just too short to never step out of the door or departing the homestead! Also keeping in mind that while traveling, no matter whether on a budget or not, even the smallest of things can all add op to a huge vacation or travel costs!. A few suggestions on how to go to Disney while on a budget:
- Fly one of the direct cheap flights from either Huntington or Charleston to Orlando. Thank you Allegiant Air and AirTran for bringing your convenient budget-friendly direct flights to Florida from Charleston (AirTran) and Huntington (Allegiant Air)! No longer is it necessary to spend two days traveling by car! No longer is it necessary to spend a day traveling by plane changing planes, waiting on connections! You can fly from Charleston or Huntington to Orlando, among other locations in Florida, in less than two hours and all for about $100 per person.
- The flight from Huntington flies toOrlando SanfordInternational Airport which is about a 45 minute drive from Disney. The flight from Charleston to Orlando flies to Orlando International Airport and is only about a 25 minute drive to Disney. This is important when considering what your mode of transportation will be upon arriving in Orlando. There are more shuttles available from Orlando International Airport to the Disney area than there are from the Orlando Sanford International Airport.
- Research any travel programs you are a part of to see if you can get discounts on Disney tickets. WeSave offers discounts for 3 day passes to any Disney park. You will also be able to find discounts through programs such as AAA.
- Only go for a short period of time.If you were to hit all the parks Disney has to offer, it could take a week of your time and a chunk of your wallet. Instead, just go for 2 or 3 days and pick the parks you are most interested in going to. Instead of a weeks worth of park tickets, hotel rooms and that over priced Disney food, you save money by just having to pay for a few days worth of these items.
- Dont waste money on the park hopper option. Trust me. You wont have time to go to more than one park per day. The parks are too big and the lines are too long.
- To gain more time for rides, use Disneys FastPass. This allows you to obtain a ticket to return to a ride at a designated time so you dont have to spend time standing in line. Tip: Get your FastPasses as early in the day as possible. Often times, they stop giving them out in the early afternoon.
