Travel Seeker HD opens to show a map of the world and pinpoints and marks your location with a red pin. The app uses the GPS data on your ipad to find your location. Next you will select your budget amount from the menu at the top. Then Travel Seeker HD shows you all of the locations you can afford to travel to and pins them, as well. The pins are color coded with green representing a good deal and red meaning the deal is at the higher end.
The app also allows you to filter destinations by certain criteria such as beaches, shopping, golf, resorts, theme parks, etc.
You can check out weather statistics on Travel Seeker HD too, which gives a full year of weather data for cities and compare prices between destinations.
The only drawback is that you can't book flights directly from the application. However, you have all the details at your fingertips to book yourself or send the information to your travel agent.
Travel Seeker HD is a good resource to have if you are open to vacation destinations or can't decide where to go. It is also a good way to save money on airfare any time of the year. Travel Seeker HD provides information on airfare to 150 U.S. and Canadian cities and 350 international destinations.
