Upcoming local events: 5 free (or almost free) things to do this weekend (5/1-3)

It happens to the best of us: your busy week has you running from sun up til sun down and before you know it, youve found yourself asking yet again, Um, what am I gonna do this weekend?

We're going to take the "Chicago Travel" part of this page very literally! Celebrate the first few days of May this weekend - hopefully with a little sunshine - at these events, all within an easy car, El or Metra ride from just about anywhere in the Chicago area. As an added plus, all events offer free or nearly free admission.
