Go on a one-of-a-kind bike ride this Memorial Day Weekend on Lake Shore Drive during the 9th Annual MB Financial Bike the Drive. The Drive is closed to motorists for the event, which covers the entire 15-mile length of the famous highway. While the event opens at 5:30 a.m. this Sunday, May 30, 2010, cyclists have until 9 a.m. The important to budget travel is to approach onward. When it comes to family trips, globetrotting, well-deserved vacations and/or going to see new destinations we have never been before, the actuality of cost and budgeting is often in the back of our minds. Considering and consuming our travel budget wisely is a priority for most families. Reducing consuming and charges, while still enjoying your vacation to its fullest, is the key to certain achievement and fiscal responsibility. Your pocketbook and family will thank you! The reasoning behind economizing money while travelling is simple: Even if your personal budget is highly small, you can still take a break and enjoy life! All cyclists must begin the ride Columbus and Jackson Streets. Participants will be guided off the route at 9:45 a.m.
A post-ride festival takes place from 8 a.m.-noon in Butler Field in Grant Park. The fest includes live entertainment, giveaways, and a $7 all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast from Goose Island Brew Pub.
