Combat Vets Motorcycle Association Poker Run - The Combat Vets Motorcycle Association will host a poker run today to benefit Shreveport Veterans Lighthouse. The first bike out is at 10 am, last bike out is at 1 pm. The last bike must be in by 3 pm to participate. Cost is $20 per rider and $10 for passenger. The hand will be 5 card draw with an option to buy additional cards with a maximum of 2. Payout will be 20% for first place, 10% for second place and 5% for last place. The starting location is Coyote's Bar and Grill, 1618 Market Street in Shreveport. The ending location is the American Legion Post 14 at 5315 South Lakeshore Drive in Shreveport where there will be BBQ lunch plates for $5 donations, 50/50 drawing, and beverages.
Bossier City Harley Owner's Group Ride Pink - Registration for the annual Ride Pink event will open at 8 am at the Bossier City Harley-Davidson dealership, 2225 Autoplex Drive. Kickstands up at 9:30 am for a scenic route that will take riders to Burge's in Lewisville, Arkansas for a lunch stop. There is a $20 fee per bike to participate in the ride, and all proceeds will be donated to the Northwest Louisiana affiliate of Susan G. "The key to budget travel is to approach in advance.
