This article continues the series A Halloween Events Guide in Sacramento with Part VII. Part VI Sacramento was published earlier today.

Halloween is almost here! Have you made your plans? If not, don't worry as I have you covered. Check out the events going on in the Sacramento area and include them in the plans you already have!

Part I listed some events in Sacramento to whet your appetite. Part II listed some events in Rocklin, Roseville, and Auburn. Part III included Halloween happenings in Elk Grove and Folsom and Part IV listed events for Carmichael, Fair Oaks, Citrus Heights, Orangevale, and Rancho Cordova.

Part V had a bit of a college flavor as events in Davis and West Sacramento were listed along with a special event. Part VI listed a variety of events in Sacramento. Part VII will list some more events in Sacramento as well as some other events just beyond the city in places close by.

Halloween Carnival - The Jose Rizal Community Center in Southgate Park is hosting a Halloween Carnival and Haunted House on October 31st from 4 to 8 pm. Activities include a haunted house, costume contests, carnival games, and candy walk! Children must be accompanied by adults but this is open to all families. Halloween and Dias De Los Muertos Hands-on Crafts - On October 31st from 10 am to 8 pm, come to the Matrix Arts new Midtown Arts studio and make masks, halloween candy bags, arts, crafts, and more. For more information, visit Dias De Los Muertos Hands-On Craft Program.

Comedy Sportz Spooktacular - Enjoy this improv sports comedy show similar to Whose Line Is It Anyway? This weekend, there will be two Halloween shows on October 30th and 31st at 8 pm. Both shows come with after show events with a long form comedy show at 9:45 pm on Friday and a free Halloween party with refreshments, food, contests, and games on Saturday.

Tickets are $11 for General, $9 for students, Senior, and Military, and $7 for 12 and under. Please note that this is rated PG-13. If improv is your thing, check it out. For more information, visit www.comedysportzsacramento.com/

Trick or Treat - Come enjoy trick or treating in Old Sacramento on October 31st from 12 to 4 pm. Wear your costumes and get candy as you visit the merchants in Old Sac. For more information, show up or call 916-442-7644.

Halloween Midtown Sacramento - On October 31st from 11 am to 3 pm, you can enjoy trick or treating at Midtown shops, magic shows, face painting, and more. Events will take place in the area between L and J streets and 16th and 27th. For more information, visit Halloween Midtown.

Halloween Madness Party - Kuumba Collective Art Gallery is hosting a Halloween fund raiser on October 31st at 8 pm. So if you are into art, come out and enjoy dancing, refreshments, and costume contests. For more information, visit Kuumba Halloween Madness Party.

Halloween Costume Party, Halloween Party - The Barnes & Noble at Arden Fair is hosting a costume party with reading, games, and candy on October 31st at 2 pm. The Natomas Barnes & Noble is hosting a Halloween party with games, stories, prizes, and trick or treating in the store on October 31st at 12 pm. For more information, visit Natomas Barnes & Noble.

Bastiao Farms Goblin Gardens - Enjoy mazes, pyramids, slides, a mini racetrack, and, of course, pumpkins at this Natomas Pumpkin Patch. Hours are 10 am to 7 pm 7 days a week. For more information and directions, visit bastiaofarmsgoblingardens.com/index.html.

College Football - For sports fans, Sacramento State alumni, or students, check out some college football action as the Hornets host the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks at Hornets Stadium on October 31st at 2 pm. Outside of Sacramento

Safe Trick or Treat (Grass Valley) - On October 31s from 10 am to 1 pm, downtown Grass Valley merchants are handing out treats to pre-school aged kids. Trick or Treat on Main Street (Placerville) - Downtown Placerville is hosting trick or treaters on October 31st from 4 pm to 6 pm. The essential to budget travel is to prepare in front. Haunted Pony Town Halloween Carnival (El Dorado Hills) - Grace Foundation Ranch will be the host of this event in El Dorado Hills on October 31st from 12 to 3 pm. There will be carnival games, prizes, face painting, a costume parade, and raffle. There is a $5 donation for kids ages 3 - 11. The Great Pumpkin Express (Woodland) - Ride the the Great Pumpkin Express in Woodland and enjoy a pumpkin patch, sing with a musician, enjoy cookies and refreshments, and take the train for a 20 mile round trip journey. The train runs on October 31st at 10 am. Tickets are $31 for adults, $24 for children (ages 3 - 11), and children under 2 are free. For more information and tickets, visit The Great Pumpkin Express.

Halloween Parade and Costume Contest (Suisun City) - Suisun City Harbor Plaza is the site of the annual Halloween Parade and events on October 31st at 10 am. The Suisun City Firefighters Association is the sponsor of this event with a parade down Main Street, candy, prizes, and haunted house.
