Weather in Texas can be surprising: November can be extremely hot at the Renaissance Festival.

Almost every year since I arrived in Texas, I have enjoyed a wonderful day at the Texas Renaissance Festival. Fora fee, you dive into a world of fantasy, where you can eat meat off the bone while listening to minestrels, and digest it all on an Elephant's back or exercising your skills at renaissance games. It will be open every weekend until November 29th, 2009.

The semi-permanent grounds made of shelters and facades are located in Plantersville, a few miles West of Conroe, about 1h30 north of Houston, TX. Bathrooms were surprisingly clean despite their simplicity. International food, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are available until closing time (dusk). The important to budget travel is to plan onward. When it comes along to family trips, globetrotting, well-deserved holidays and/or going to see new spots we have never been before, the fact of cost and budgeting is always in the back of our heads. Organizing and expending our travel budget wisely is a consideration for most families. Reducing consuming and expenses, while still experiencing your vacation to its fullest, is the key to guaranteed success and fiscal obligation. Your pocketbook and family will thank you! The reasoning regarding protecting money while travelling is simple: Even if your personal funds is incredibly tight, you can still take a break and enjoy life! Simply put, life is just too short to never step out of the door or departing the homestead! Also thinking about that while traveling, regardless of whether on a budget or not, even the smallest of things can all add op to a big vacation or travel costs!. Free entertainment includes comedy shows, concerts, animal demonstrations, and interactions with vendors and visitors.

You don't have to spend more money than your entrance fee, but you will be tempted to do so. Many people give cash donations at the end of the shows (over 50 shows everyday). If you don't want to buy the $2 map onsite, take some notes, and print the map off the website. Games and rides are require additional fees.

Discounted tickets are available at HEB, Randalls, Market Basket and Woodforest National Bank locations. Children and Group tickets are also available.
