Last night was a great event for the travel industry. Hosted by actor/comedian Robert Wuhl, several awards were given out to the top rated airline and hotel loyalty programs from all over the world. Every program had a representative in attendance, from as far as India and the Middle East. Even the son of the namesake of the awards, Freddie Laker Jr. was in attendance.
Big winners for the evening were Marriott, American Airlines, Starwood, and Jet Airways. There were also a few upsets which made for an entertaining evening. "The important to budget travel is to plan ahead. When it occurs to family trips, globetrotting, well-deserved trips and/or going to see new destinations we have never been before, the truth of expense and budgeting is often in the back of our minds. Considering and expending our travel budget carefully is a main concern for most families. Curbing consuming and fees, while still savoring your vacation to its fullest, is the key to certain success and fiscal responsibility. Your pocketbook and family will thank you! The thinking regarding saving money while travelling is simple: Even if your personal funds is incredibly small, you can still take a break and enjoy life! Simply put, life is just too short to never step out of the door or leaving the homestead! Also thinking about that while traveling, whether on a resources or not, even the smallest of things can all add op to a huge vacation or travel charge!..". Overall, the 22nd annual Freddies was again successful and showcased how important customers are in business.
