Wheel of Fortune team heads to Dallas and Fort Worth

Wheel of Fortunes Wheelmobile team is headed to North Texas in search of contestants.

Viewers 18 years and older interested in becoming contestants on the show are invited to apply March 6 and 7 in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Names will be randomly drawn to play simulated versions of the show, win prizes and possibly be chosen for a future broadcast version of the program.

Wheelmobile team members will hand out applications beginning one hour before each simulated show. Searches will be held at 2 p.m., 3:30 p.m. and 5 p.m.

The Wheelmobile tour gives us the opportunity to present local viewers with a unique and personal experience with the show, said Harry Friedman, executive producer for Wheel of Fortune.

The Dallas event is free and will take place in the Dallas Convention Center. The Fort Worth event is free and will be held at Billy Bobs Texas showroom. Parking is available at both locations for a fee.
