Starting this weekend, thousands of motorcycles will roar into Daytona Beach for the 70th year of Bike Week. Harley-Davidson will be there to offer demo rides, parts, racing and more. Also on the agenda is the annual MDA Womens Ride.
Below is a sampling of what the Motor Company has in store for bikers.
From Saturday to Saturday (March 5-12) and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Daytona International Speedway location, daily activities will include:
- 2011 Harley-Davidson Demo Rides
- Fit Shop offering test rides to find the best fitting motorcycle by switching out components such as seat, handlebars, suspension, and foot controls
- H.O.G. Pin Stop for current HOG members (Harley owners can join or renew HOG memberships via credit cards also)
From Saturday to Saturday (March 5-12) and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Riverfront Park on Beach Street, daily activities will include:
- Parts & Accessories featuring the MDA bike build, lighting options, and Screaming Eagle components
- MDA ticket sales for a chance to win a customized Harley-Davidson motorcycle
- Willie G. t-shirt sales
- XR1200 Racing Experience
- Womens area with bike lift seminars
- Fit Shop offering test rides to find the best fitting motorcycle by switching out components such as seat, handlebars, suspension, and foot controls
- H.O.G. Pin Stop for current HOG members (Harley owners can join or renew HOG memberships via credit cards also) pin is the same at both locations
Cant miss activities:
- Saturday, March 5 H.O.G. Day; HOG members receive free zipper pull at either Speedway or Beach Street location
- Tuesday, March 8 Womens MDA Ride; staging and registration from 8-10 a.m. at Riverfront Park on Beach Street, leaving at 10 a.m. with Karen Davidson leading and ending at Bruce Rossmeyers HD around 11 a.m. Registration form. This is a womens only ride and is a fundraiser for MDA. The top three fundraisers will receive special recognition and awards following the ride.
- Thursday, March 10 through Saturday March 12 Black Bike Week; featuring the African-American Harley-Davidson exhibit, music, and customized motorcycles

- March 10-13 NHRA (National Hot Rod Association) 42nd Annual Tire Kingdom Gatornationals in Gainesville

- March 10-12 AMA XR1200 Series at Daytona Beach
- March 11- AMA Daytona Flat Track II at Daytona Beach
