Camping at NYS Parks in Western New York

Gas prices and a sluggish economy have many people rethinking their travel plans for this spring and summer. Camping is a great way to get out on the cheap. To make an online reservation for any of the Western New York State Parks with campgrounds, go to Reserve America, at www.reserveamerica.com/. This is the only online site that the NYS Parks use. It is user friendly and many other states also use this service as well. Maps and pricing along with information on the park amenities and policies can all be found there.

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation & Office of Parks Recreation can be contacted at 1-800-456-CAMP. Reservations for New York State Parks campgrounds can be made by calling this number. The helpful attendants will do all they can to assist callers make the perfect camping reservation.
