Darlington Apple Festival promises apples and apple products galore in Darlington, Maryland

At the Darlington Apple Festival, you will find apples, apples, and more apples.Apple pie, apple dumplings, apple fritters, apple turnovers, apple butter. How many ways are there to prepare the venerable apple?

Perhaps the best way to find out is to attend!The Darlington Apple Festival is this Saturday, Oct 3, from 10 to 5.

What started out 23 years ago as a small fair to support the local churches has grown into a colossus. 60,000 people will descend on the town to enjoy the aforementioned apples, but also the offerings of over 200 vendors of arts and crafts, jewelry, clothing, burgers, pit beef and crab soup. There will also be hay rides, face painting, a petting zoo, a moon bounce and other childrens activities, pumpkins, mums, and continuous live entertainment.
