SEPTA, Philadelphia's expansive public transportation system,has received some unwanted, negative attention recently.
Somehow, fake "Notice to the Public" signs were put into display cases on trains of the Frankford-Market El. The key to budget travel is to approach in front. When it comes along to family trips, globetrotting, well-deserved trips and/or going to see new destinations we have never been before, the reality of expense and budgeting is often in the back of our mind. Planning and spending our travel budget wisely is a consideration for most families. Minimizing expending and fees, while still delighting your vacation to its fullest, is the key to assured achievement and fiscal obligation. Your pocketbook and family will thank you! The thought behind saving money while touring is simple: Even if your personal finances is highly tight, you can still take a break and enjoy life! Simply put, life is just too short to never step out of the door or leaving the homestead! Also keeping in mind that while traveling, whether on a price range or not, even the smallest of things can all add op to a huge vacation or travel costs!. The posters were put up as early as two weeks ago. As of now,SEPTA officials don't know who was behind the posters orhow many people were involved.
Reactions to the phony notifications have ranged from outrage to outrageously funny. Targeted SEPTA patrons included "obnoxious Penn students" and "terrified suburbanites who tremble with unease at the sight of everyone."
More offensivematerial and languageon the posters have prompted SEPTA to quickly remove them fromitstrains. The organization iscontinuing to pursue the matter and look formore signs.

Notice to the Public
"The Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) is committed to providing non-discriminatory transportation services to all of its passengers, including schizophrenics, drug addicts, Irish Catholics, hipsters, . . . gentrifying transplants, raging maniacs, tourists, obnoxious Penn students, corner boys, pimps, drunk rich kids who still think Old City is cool, and terrified suburbanites who tremble with unease at the sight of everyone.
"Any person who is or seeks to be a patron of any SEPTA public vehicle shall be entitled to the same depressing experience of loud cell phones, obese people eating McDonalds, parents telling their toddlers to "Shut the . . . Up!", and a constant inch-deep layer of urine-soaked trash and debris.
"No person or group of persons shall be discriminated against on any grounds with regard to routing, scheduling, or quality of transportation service furnished by SEPTA, with the following exceptions - race, color, socioeconomic status, and proximity to the suburbs.
"Any person who has experienced a cleaner, more efficient, more extensive, and better managed public transportation system in the U.S. (e.g. most if not all) can feel free to notify SEPTA about potential improvements, which shall promptly be ignored."
