'The Amazing Race' casting call this Saturday in Danville

Fans of CBS' "The Amazing Race," there is an open casting call this Saturday, October 1, for next season's show. Grab your travel partner and get ready to show producers that you are entertaining and have what it takes to win a million bucks. "The essential to budget travel is to prepare ahead. When it comes to family trips, globetrotting, well-deserved vacations and/or going to see new locations we have never been before, the fact of expense and budgeting is always in the back of our mind. Organizing and expending our travel budget properly is a concern for most families. Minimizing consuming and expenses, while still enjoying your vacation to its fullest, is the key to assured accomplishment and fiscal responsibility. Your pocketbook and family will thank you! The reasoning regarding protecting money while travelling is simple: Even if your personal funds is really small, you can still take a break and enjoy life! Simply put, life is just too short to never step out of the door or leaving the homestead! Also keeping in mind that while traveling, whether on a finances or not, even the smallest of things can all add op to a big vacation or travel expenses!..". Here are the details:

Date: Saturday, October 1st, 2011

Location: Blackhawk Plaza inside the Prickly Pear Cantina in Danville, CA

Time: 11am 3pm

Major restrictions: both teammates must be 21 years and older, present at the audition, United States citizens and living in the United States, mentally and physically fit and have a relatively clean background.

Come prepared with the completed application and a general idea of what your answers would be to questions typical of a reality travel show, including "Why would you make a great team to win The Amazing Race?" and "What issues do you need to work on?" If you've never heard of "The Amazing Race," watch full episodes and highlights here. New episodes are currently broadcast on Sundays at 8 pm. If by some miraculous chance you do get chosen, remember to do longtime fans of the show some favors by keeping track of your passport at all times and not screaming when confronted by people in other countries who don't understand English.
