Ok, so Fare Compare isnt exactly new on the scene (it was named one of Travel + Leisures top travel websites of 2008), but that doesnt mean we cant heart it.

The travel meta-search engine works in a similar fashion to Kayak or Bing Travel, but also offers travelers a host of unique options to find the best deal possible:

find cheap deals from your home airport via Fare Compares Twitter page.
a Cheap Flight of the Day daily posting of you guessed it a budget-friendly fare
a Deals blog, updated several times daily
a Discounted First Class Fares search function

Our only gripe? While the majority of the content is uber up-to-date, some (potentially) cool functions are not. The important to budget travel is to plan in front. When it comes along to family trips, globetrotting, well-deserved vacations and/or going to see new destinations we have never been before, the fact of expense and budgeting is always in the back of our thoughts. Considering and expending our travel budget carefully is a main concern for most families. Lowering consuming and prices, while still enjoying your vacation to its fullest, is the key to assured success and fiscal obligation. Your pocketbook and family will thank you! The reasoning regarding saving money while touring is simple: Even if your personal finances is really limited, you can still take a break and enjoy life! Simply put, life is just too short to never step out of the door or leaving the homestead! Also remembering that while traveling, regardless of whether on a finances or not, even the smallest of things can all add op to a large vacation or travel expenses!. Case in point: a page listing dozens of airline promotion codes for several airlines doesnt list a single code thats still active.
