ASPEN, Colo.September 22, 2010While there are plenty of reasons to come home for the holidays, the folks at Aspen Meadows Resort in Aspen, Colorado are offering a reason to instead visit Aspen for the holiday season with two very special packages.

Located on 42 beautiful acres along the Roaring Fork River in Aspens historic West End, Aspen Meadows Resort is an ideal place to spend a memorable, snow-covered holiday season.

The Home Away From Home Package

For Christmas 2010, Aspen Meadows Resort is offering a festive package for celebrating the season of lights and cheer. This package includes:

Lodging in one of Aspen Meadows Resorts well-appointed junior suites
A Holiday tree, strings of white lights and decorative bulbs in the guest suite
Receiving and handling of one box of gifts shipped by the guest to Aspen Meadows Resort, which will be delivered to the guests room upon arrival; additional boxes can be handled for $25
Milk and cookies provided for one night

The Holiday tree will be set up in the guest suite but undecorated, giving guests the opportunity to decorate the tree as they desire, just like home. Guests are invited to ship a box of gifts from their home to the resort prior to their stay, and Aspen Meadows will accept delivery of the package and hold it for the guests arrival. For guests with children, the boxes of gifts can be held until Christmas Eve.

Cost for this package starts at $359 per night (excluding taxes and resort fee) with a four night minimum stay requirement. This package is available for arrivals December 18-24, 2010 with a required stay over Dec. 24 and must be booked by November 1, 2010.

Revel and Recover New Years Eve Package

For guests ringing in 2011, Aspen Meadows Resort is providing a very special package to help celebrate (and recover from) New Years Eve. This package includes:

A discount on lodging in one of Aspen Meadows Resorts junior suites
One bottle of house champagne
Noise makers and party favors for the celebration
An official hangover remedy kit for the morning after
Two Bloody Marys in Hefner Lounge on New Years Day

Cost for this package starts at $539 per night (excluding taxes and resort fee) with a three night minimum stay requirement. This package is available for arrivals December 28, 2010 January 3, 2011.
