Budget travel week in review - Fall/travel holiday deals, air show in Sacramento, TSA Secure Flight

With Labor Day over, the travel deals were just beginning. This week brought many travel deals and cheap flights for Fall and holiday travel. In Sacramento, a huge aviation air show display with fighter jets, World War II planes, and more were on display this weekend. And for any passengers flying, here is what domestic and international travelers need to know about TSA's Secure Flight Program.

Tuesday

Labor Day plans for JetBlue's Steve Slater: unemployment - With the celebration of Labor Day, jetBlue's Steve Slater celebrated his unemployed. And his issues aren't resolved yet as he was in court this week.

Holiday Travel deals Part I: Cheap flights to Europe for Fall, Thanksgiving as low as $230 each way - American Airlines offered some cheap flights for Thanksgiving and Fall to Europe. If you are interested, flights are still on sale through September 15.

Fall travel deals on Southwest and JetBlue as low as $39 - Southwest and jetBlue offered some great airfare sales for as low as $59 and $39 respectively.

Fall travel deals on Frontier Airlines for as low as $34 - Frontier airlines joined the Fall airfare sale with cheap flights for as low as $34 each way

Wednesday

Fall travel deals on American Airlines as low as $59 each way - American Airlines offered Fall airfares for as low as $59 for domestic flights. These are still on sale through September 16.

Thursday

Holiday travel deals Part II: Fall, Thanksgiving flights to Australia for as low as $970 RT - United Airlines offered some cheap flights to Australia for selected cities for Fall and Thanksgiving.

California Capital Air show in Sacramento this weekend September 11-12 - F-22 Raptors, World War II airplanes, and women in aviation are on display this weekend at the air show at Mather Field.

TSA Secure Flight Program required for all domestic and international passengers in 2010 - For anyone flying this Fall and for the holidays, the rules have changed for passenger information. TSA and the Department of Homeland Security now requires certain information from passengers on all domestic and international flights. Here's what you need to know.

Friday

Southwest offers cheap flights for Fall airfares $49 - $109 each way - Southwest Airlines launched one of their biggest airfare sales for the Fall with airfares between $49 and $109 each way. Book now as these are only on sale through September 13.
