Luminato: Nabaz'mob

A funny bunch or bunnies are participating in the Luminato festival in Toronto this summer. Finding them in the Distillery district is already an adventure: first, look for a hidden door, then climb two stores higher, twice around the corner, and there they are in a dark room. Choose the right chair and relax.

Two French artists, Antoine Schmitt and Jean-Jacques Birg, brought a Taiz-style meditation onto secular grounds. One hundred little white electronic toys, each playing its unique party with sound, colored lights and ear movement, produce a subtle opera performance. The important to budget travel is to prepare in front. Also remembering that while traveling, regardless of whether on a budget or not, even the smallest of things can all add op to a big vacation or travel charge!. Technically, every bunny plays the same score, but there is a tangible interaction between the characters, they act solo or in groups, or form a chorus - just like a mob. This bunnies' show is called Nabaz'mob.

It's absolutely amazing, how feelings may be expressed and stories told without a single word. And mesmerizing, too.
