Summer is almost here and school is almost out, this is the time of the year where there will be lots of traveling, vacations, reunions, weddings, and graduations. Alot of people think "oh i'll just get a group rate and that will save us some money". What most people don't know is individual rates are better and is a good way to save money. Why you ask? With group rates you'll reserve about 5-10 rooms or maybe more, and they'll tell you, "hey, we will give you 10-15 percent off your entire total at check out", you're thinking, "wow, what a great savings. When it comes along to family trips, globetrotting, well-deserved vacations and/or going to see new spots we have never been before, the truth of expense and budgeting is generally in the back of our mind. Arranging and spending our travel budget properly is a priority for most families. If you would reserve those 5-10 rooms or more under individual reservations you could apply loads of discounts, there's student discounts, military, aaa, aarp, senior citizens, and company. Company discounts is exactly what it say, where you work could be a big discount. Alot of people don't know that your company discount could be 30 percent alone, military is about 15-20 percent, and if your just coming in from overseas you could get 50 percent off the rate, student discounts is 10-15 percent, aaa,aarp, and senior citizen discounts are 10 percent off. So let's say it's a reunion and most of the people in your party are eligible for all of the discounts, one room you could have two students, reserve the room in both of they're names and they could get 20-30 percent off that room, say there's 4 people in the military and 2 of them just came back from overseas, if those four stayed in the same room, one of those nights would be free with 50 percent from one military person and 50 percent for the other. If your company is on their list for discounts, then you would get 30 percent off. So before you make your reservations check with everyone and see what company they work for, then either ask the company what hotel could you stay at that would except your company discount or call the hotel and see if the have company discounts with your company and any one else traveling with your party, All hotels are different, you want to call and make sure you get the best discount possible, you could save up to 70 percent all together with individual rates or 10-15 off of a group rate. So i ask you, which is better, Individual rates or group rates? Remember check with the hotel and make sure you can max out how many discounts you can get, don't settle for group rates.
