This article continues the series A Halloween Events Guide in Sacramento with Part VI.
We continue the Halloween Events Guide for Sacramento with a number of events in the Sacramento area in Part VI and Part VII. Part I listed some events in Sacramento to whet your appetite. Part II listed some events in Rocklin, Roseville, and Auburn. Part III included
Halloween happenings in Elk Grove and Folsom and Part IV listed events for Carmichael, Fair Oaks, Citrus Heights, Orangevale, and Rancho Cordova. Part V had a bit of a college flavor as events in Davis and West Sacramento were listed along with a special event. We continue with more events, this time in the Sacramento area.
Sacramento
Boo at the Zoo - The Sacramento Zoo presents an evening of entertainment and fun on October 30th and October 31st from 4:30 to 8 pm. Enjoy trick or treating, entertainment, crafts, games, magic shows, a haunted house, food, music, a spooky train, and more. Monsters at the Mall - Sunrise Mall presents a safe Halloween event for kids on October 31st from 5 to 7 pm. Enjoy treats, games, and more. Admission is free. For more information, visit Monsters at the Mall.
Spooktacular - An exclusive but fun event at Arden Hills Resort & Spa. This event is October 31st at 5 pm and includes bobbing for apples, trick or treating, and costumes! Tickets range from $25 to $80. Get more information at ardenhills.net.
FearOverload Haunted House - Inmates, mutated zombies, and psychotic serial killers seek to haunt and terrorize you in this haunted house. Tickets are $13 online and $14 at the door. For VIP tickets, it is $17 online and $18 at the door (gets you an earlier entrance time). Dates for the haunted house are October 28 - November 1. On October 28th, 29th, and November 1st, the times are 7 - 10 pm. On October 30th, hours are 7 pm to midnight and on October 31st, hours are 6:45 pm to 12:15 am. Halloween Scene - The Crocker Arts Museum hosts a Halloween party on October 31st from 1 to 4 pm. Enjoy a costume parade, treats, a puppet show, and more. Tickets are $6 for adults, $4 for Seniors, $3 for students with ID, and kids under 6 are free. For more information, visit Crocker Arts Halloween Scene.
Harvest Festival - Fairtytale Town is hosting a Harvest Festival on October 31st from 5 to 8 pm. It will include games, crafts, fun, food, and live music to help your family enjoy a great time! Tickets are $6 for kids 2 and older and $3 for adults. Soda and hot dogs are $1 each and popcorn is $.50. Proceeds go to Treehouse Inc. The key to budget travel is to plan ahead. Slavayanka A Capella Choir - If music and culture are your thing, enjoy this Russian a capella choir at the Sacramento Community Theater on October 31st at 8 pm. Sacramento State Concert Band - For another musical event, enjoy an EARLY Halloween event. The Sacramento State Concert band perform works by Clifton Williams, James Barnes, Warren Penson, Percy Granger, and David Holsinger. The concert is TONIGHT October 28th at 7:30 pm at Capistrano Hall on the Sacramento State campus. Tickets are $8 for General and $5 for students and Seniors. Noises Off - For a little theater, enjoy this play with 7 slamming doors, 1 breaking window, 17 false entrances, 73 flubbed lines, and more while trying to miss a plate of sardines. This is being put on by the Sacramento Theatre Company and tickets are $35 each. Performance dates and times range with performances October 28 - November 1.
