Celebrating 60 years of making glass, The Corning Museum of Glass is the largest glass museum in the world. Admission for kids and teens 19 and under is free. Adults are $14.00 and seniors are $11.90. Tours can be guided or self-guided and audio tours are available for an additional $3.00.

Admission to the museum includes several shows and demonstrations, such as the hot glass show and the flame working demonstration. For an additional fee, visitors can even make their own glass!

Hands on exhibits, a collection of glass pieces from all over the world and a large glass gift shop fill the visit with fun and facts. Guests can see the diversity of glass and all the ways we use it. Casserole dishes, windshields and stop lights are just a few items we use every day. "The essential to budget travel is to plan in advance. When it happens to family trips, globetrotting, well-deserved holidays and/or going to see new destinations we have never been before, the reality of expense and budgeting is always in the back of our mind. Preparation and spending our travel budget wisely is a main concern for most families. Curbing consuming and costs, while still savoring your vacation to its fullest, is the key to guaranteed accomplishment and fiscal obligation. Your pocketbook and family will thank you! The thinking behind economizing money while vacationing is simple: Even if your personal finances is incredibly tight, you can still take a break and enjoy life! Simply put, life is just too short to never step out of the door or leaving the homestead! Also thinking about that while traveling, whether on a price range or not, even the smallest of things can all add op to a large vacation or travel bill!..". There is even a display showing how glass occurs naturally.

The Corning Glass Museum is open 9:00am to 5:00pm every day. The museum is closed January 1st, Thanksgiving and December 24thand 25th. In the summer, hours are extended opening at 9:00am and closing at 8:00pm. Restaurants and stores are all in the area, as well as local shops. Mark Twain spent his summers in the area, writing some of his best works and The Rockwell Museum is another popular tourist attraction.
