Zombies haunt Texas Street during RWTN rally (Photos)

Zombies haunted Texas Street in downtown Shreveport this evening as the 5th annual Run With The Nuns Motorcycle event to raise money for children's programs at Christus Schumpert kicked off. Motorcycles began arriving early in the afternoon and riders were treated to reserved parking along the 600 and 700 blocks of Texas Street. Local cafes including Abby Singer's Bistro in the The Robinson Film Center and the Cafe at Art Space were open for business, and vendors lined the streets. The first ever zombie race was entertaining as each Zombie made their way toward Sister Sharon for a chance to chew on her arm. Shortly after sunset, the film, Wild Hogs, began playing on the portable blow up screen set in the middle of the road. Riders took a break to enjoy one of their favorite biker movies.

Tomorrow more events are scheduled to include breakfast by IHOP, a bike show, tattoo contest, music and a ride. The schedule is as follows:
