That's the official position of the motor company. Many of us are familiar with the Harley-Davidson slogans like "Screw It, Just Ride" and "Ride and Have Fun", and look forward to their campaigns that promote riding for really no special reason. Recognizing that riders don't need a real reason to ride, the company gives us one, nonetheless, with programs like Million Mile Monday and World Ride.
Locally, independents and clubs alike are planning to throw a leg over their chrome steeds and take to the highways and biways and rack up some miles together. Last year, Million Mile Monday participants collectively logged more than 400,000,000 miles, and this year with a two day World Ride that number could easily double.
A forum on the official Harley-Davidson website proves that riders across the globe are already making plans.
