I am often amazed at how good eating establishments that are nearby manage to elude me. "The essential to budget travel is to prepare in advance. When it happens to family trips, globetrotting, well-deserved vacations and/or going to see new places we have never been before, the actuality of expense and budgeting is always in the back of our thoughts. Preparation and spending our travel budget carefully is a priority for most families. Lowering expending and expenses, while still savoring your vacation to its fullest, is the key to confirmed accomplishment and fiscal obligation. Your pocketbook and family will thank you! The thinking regarding protecting money while traveling is simple: Even if your personal finances is highly small, you can still take a break and enjoy life! Simply put, life is just too short to never step out of the door or leaving the homestead! Also keeping in mind that while traveling, regardless of whether on a funds or not, even the smallest of things can all add op to a huge vacation or travel expenses!..". Not one to do "the usual" at the same place every day, I constantly keep my eyes peeled for something new or interesting. Sherlock's Baker Street Pub and Grill isn't new but it definitely is interesting.
From the unmistakable red exterior, to the highly detailed interior this place has a great atmosphere. Lots of wood and decor give it that nice pub feel and my hat's off to the person who put it together.
Now to the point of this article, the food. The menu has a nice variety and many selections to tempt you. The person I was with ordered the Fish and Chips, while I had the Shepherd's Pie. We were told by the very friendly waitstaff that both were really good and after a few minutes of watching order after order of Fish and Chips come out of the kitchen, I wondered if I had chosen wisely. They were easily the most popular item on the menu. I had opted not to get the fish and chips because it was lunch. Everyone knows fish and chips are best washed down with a Black & Tan or pint of Guinness, something I was unable to do. Next time for sure. Our food arrived and both looked and tasted great.
Making my first visit, at lunch when I didn't get to spend too much time soaking it all in was a mistake and I will definitely be visiting again in the evening. If it's this good at lunch, I can't wait for dinner. Pay them a visit, you'll be glad you did.
