Tax-free rates at South Florida hotels that will make even your CPA smile

In observance of April 15, one most of the dreaded days of the year for many -- especially the large population of wealthy Angelenos -- a pair of South Florida resorts are coming to the aid of over-taxed vacationers with an innovative deal that includes, as you might guess, tax-free rates, stimulus money for hotel activities, free parking, deduction of daily resort fee and 1:00 p.m. late checkout (because, they note: "in the wise words of Benjamin Franklin, 'Time is Money.'")

Here's the scoop:

From April 1-June 1, South Florida sister properties Sanibel Harbour Marriott Resort & Spa in Ft. Myers, and Hutchinson Island Marriott Beach Resort & Marina in Stuart, are offering a QE3 package that includes

Tax-free accommodations;
Daily $15 resort fee deducted (at Sanibel only; no resort fee at Hutchinson);
Free parking (Hutchinson) and free valet parking (Sanibel);
Daily $50 credit towards hotel activities which include recreation, dining, golf, spa, etc.;
And late 1:00 p.m. check-out (because, in the wise words of Benjamin Franklin, Time is Money).

To take advantage of this special offer, valid on travel April 1-June 1, reservations must be made by April 18. You should use the rate code LPR when booking at either resort.

Rates for the QE3 package start at $249 perday at Sanibel and $169 per day at Hutchinson. Package is based upon availability. Additional restrictions and blackout dates may apply.
