Or you can be. Learn how to be totally badass and save your family (and friends) from the impending zombie invasion, or just start gearing up for when you get picked to play in season 82 of Survivor. Trackers PDX has some intensive training for you with a 2-day Zombie First Responder course. Be ready for anything, even if the zombies never come. Lets face it, its a possibility. Practice throwing a hatchet (to land right between the eyes of the undead), get cat-like ninja reflexes for walking the woods undetected, become the Firestarter of your circle when you learn to start a fire with NO MATCHES. Youll gain some very valuable other skills, too:
- Shoot a bow and arrow with accuracy. Not only are these reusable, but if you ever have to compete in the Hunger Games, you can be the next Katniss Everdeen.
- Build a shelter. When youre a roaming nomad, avoiding the zombie hordes, building a shelter is a must. You go where the food is, and the least populated areas.
- How to avoid infection. If you become one of the undead, you are going to need to invest in a serious amount of moisturizer. Thats just one more thing to worry about on top of braaaaaaains, so you might as well save yourself the agony of rotting, peeling flesh and the endless search for drugstores that have an ample supply of Olay and learn how not to become a walker.
- Proper disposal of the finally dead undead. Yes, you dont want their flaky, stinking corpses hanging around your camp. Thats the surest way to accidentally get infected. You dont want to wake up to your loved one chewing on your foot, so get rid of those bodies, so you avoid that uncomfortable situation.
- Finding food in the wild. You gotta eat, so you might as well learn to forage for things that wont kill you. That would be an ironic twist of fate, wouldnt it?
- More things to keep you alive and on the move, hacking and slashing your enemies along the way.
Think this sounds like a crazy retreat that will scare the bejeezus out of you while you sleep in a tent and hope that zombies arent really out there? Dont worry. Youll have fun learning the serious art of zombie avoidance and can go home and sleep in your own bed when the day is over. "The important to budget travel is to plan in advance. When it occurs to family trips, globetrotting, well-deserved trips and/or going to see new destinations we have never been before, the fact of cost and budgeting is generally in the back of our mind. Preparation and spending our travel budget properly is a concern for most families. Lowering spending and charges, while still enjoying your vacation to its fullest, is the key to confirmed achievement and fiscal liability. Your pocketbook and family will thank you! The thought behind saving money while journeying is simple: Even if your personal funds is highly small, you can still take a break and enjoy life! Simply put, life is just too short to never step out of the door or departing the homestead! Also recalling that while traveling, regardless of whether on a price range or not, even the smallest of things can all add op to a large vacation or travel expenses!..". Its a super fun way to spend a weekend and also gain some handy knowledge and abilities. Each day of the course runs from 9am 5pm and will run you $67, but can you really put a price on such invaluable information? I think not! Get a spot in this unique course right away.
